The GSCP Partner Organisations Network PDF E-mail

The GSCP Partner Organisations Network (“the Network”) aims at regrouping key initiatives and schemes working on the improvement of labour and environmental conditions in global supply chains (“the Organisations”). These Organisations have demonstrated expertise in remediation and capacity building in global supply chains and have expressed the will to collaborate and contribute to reducing duplication in this field.

What are we aiming to do through the Network?

  1. to promote and give GSCP members visibility on the Organisations’ existing efforts, expertise and projects in remediation and capacity building (potential for scaling up, participation, collaboration) as agreed to be shared by each Organisation, and
  2. to facilitate where appropriate collaborative work on remediation and capacity building topics between the GSCP and  the Organisations,  by including the Organisations in the GSCP’s work, according to their expertise areas.

How it works

The expertise information provided by the Organisations part of the Network is recorded and structured, forming an inventory of existing / available expertise, and remediation and capacity building projects. This information is made available to GSCP member companies who therefore have access at all times to a “who does what” in remediation and capacity building, providing them with sources of information, and opportunities to participate in the Organisations' existing projects and scale them up where appropriate, instead of starting working from scratch on any given issue, and therefore duplicating efforts.
Organisations part of the Network may also be invited to participate in work on remediation and capacity building topics conducted in the framework of the GSCP, in accordance with their particular fields of expertise as identified in their expertise profiles.

The Partner Organisations

Partner Organisations are currently being invited by the GSCP to join the Network. Participation is by invitation only, and is formalised by the signature of an MoU which reflects their and the GSCP’s common will to collaborate. The names of Partner Organisations will soon be available on this page.
