The Expert Working Groups carry out the GSCP working plan.
Expert Working Group members are operational experts drawn from Task Force Member companies.
The role of each Expert Working Group, within its respective field of activity, is to compare and analyse existing practices in order to identify best practices for each step of the GSCP working plan. Expert Working Groups are mandated to work on specific tasks such as the review of the reference code, the alignment of audit processes and methodologies, auditor competence, etc. The number of active working groups is defined according to task allocation. Expert Working Groups are expected to disband once their task is completed.
