The GSCP organised in June and July 2011 a series of webinars to introduce potential users in more details to the GSCP Equivalence Process and the online platform hosting it.

We held multiple sessions of 2 different types of presentation: introductory webinars and technical webinars, each presented by different GSCP members and other participants. Recordings of these sessions are now available on this page as audio training.

Further sessions may be scheduled in September/October 2011.

A. Introduction to the Equivalence Process (EP)

Through these recorded sessions you will learn more about the EP, how it works, how it can be used and by whom. Representatives of GSCP member companies who developed the EP, along with different organisations who tested it (buying company / auditing body / initiative), will walk you through their experience, explain the use their organisations are planning on making of the EP and tell you of the benefits they have already seen in participating in the exercise.

Each session was presented by different member company representatives, with the ad-hoc participation of the auditing body and initiative involved in the final testing phase of the platform. The basic content (save organisation-specific testimonials) is the same for each session.

B. The Equivalence Process IT platform: technical webinars

The purpose of these sessions is to initiate you to the use of the IT platform hosting the Equivalence Process. The GSCP team will walk you through each step of the exercise, from user registration to the sharing and comparing of results, and from the Self-Assessment to the Equivalence Assessment. The content did not vary from one session to the other.
